Location : Home sits atop a hillside overlooking downtown,valley , Shivalik mountains and beautiful glaciers. The view from our home is very colorful, inspiring and ever-changing. Snow-capped mountains, green forests, glowing yellow meadows during sunset, and a sea of clouds along the mountain line are just some of the stunning views you can see during the day. At night, you can see the street lights sparkling on the Simla hills and the town. Even during rainy days, you will enjoy enchanting views of reflecting water droplets. Our home was custom built again in 2003 and faces nearly one acre of wild flower gardens and a huge landscaped private lawn of 2000 square meters . The house has a living area of 3,200 square feet, divided into upper and lower levels. The living room in each level has huge panoramic windows built into the entire front wall. The windows allow you to soak in the views of the curved Spit, mountains and gleaming glaciers formed across the bay. Amenties - For entertainment ,besides TV( which we discourage ),we have a number of indoor games like chess , carom board etc etc and outdoor games like cricket , badminton etc. Its actually the kind of place to listen to Ghulam Ali or well Pink Floyd and read books on the hammock and go for long nature walks . History - An eminent lawyer ,member or first parliament and a freedom fighter worked in close collaboration with Mahatma Gandhi to the freedom struggle right from this cottage . He got acquitted great revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh etc in the British era . One of the oldest bungalows of Kasauli . My great grand father bought this estate because the rent at Rs 1 was very expensive and a bad business proposition at that time . Those were some days !!!
